On Saturday, Feb. 1st, the Royal Valley Forensics team was at Nemaha Central for the second tournament of the season. A few students tried out new events and new pieces, and overall the team showed quite a bit of improvement.
The team brought home some medals:
Izzy Stephens, senior, and Olivia Cook, junior, took 5th in Duet, which is a new event for both.
Arwyn Faulkner, senior, took 5th place in POI with a new piece.
Ethan Wabskie crushed POI, bringing home 1st place! Ethan is now qualified for State Champs in May.
Up next for the Panthers is the tournament at McLouth on Sat. Feb. 8th.
