Entries for the art show need to be submitted between April 16 - April 30, 2025. Entries need to be from this school year and need to be original. They could either be made in class or at home. Students should look for an email from Ms. Chenoweth which will include the form. Voting will be from May 5- May 12th, 2025. The top 3 overall will receive a $20 gift card and the top 3 in each category will receive a certificate.
Categories include:
Drawings: graphite, colored pencil, marker, crayons, charcoal
Painting: water color, acrylic, oil pastel
Mixed media: 2 or more media or collages
Miscellaneous: jewelry, embroidery, weavings, knitting, sewing, things that don’t fit into other categories
Sculptures: cardboard, clay, tape, yarn coiling, reed baskets, sugar skulls, wood
Digital art: computer generated art: hand drawn, collaged images/photos
Photography: photos with little to no alterations
Graphic design: business designs, logos, letterheads, brochures, posters, menus, presentations
Animation: computer animation, stop animations, gifs
Video: original commercials, ad’s, short films, songs from garageband
