Senior Sammy Klotz was selected to play in the 2025 Kansas Volleyball Association (KVA) All Star game. Sammy will be on the Red team, which plays against the Blue team, at Washburn Rural High School on June 7th starting at 5:00 pm.
To be eligible for the KVA All Star game, players must be nominated by their KVA coach and then be recommended by a committee. According to the KSHSAA website, selections are made based on the following criteria: achievements, positions, classifications, collegiate aspirations and availability.
When asked about her selection, Sammy said that she is excited for the game. She said, “it is all classes so it is the best of the best.” She also gets to play with friends that she has played against in the past. Sammy said, “I’m excited to play with them now.”
